Developing your Tourism Marketing Strategy

Part 1. Strategy Planning Session

Together with appropriate stakeholders, I will facilitate a half day marketing strategy planning session to determine the direction of the marketing spend for the business. The session will begin with a presentation on current marketing trends and opportunities for the relevant industry followed by discussion of the following:

  • Organisation Situation Analysis
  • Marketing Goals and Objectives (including Tactical Objectives)
  • Ideal Customer and supporting Customer Segments
  • Internal and External environment analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)
  • Unique Selling Proposition and Key Messages
  • Current Marketing tactics, and proposed future tactics

Part 2: Strategy Development & Presentation

After facilitating the strategy planning session, a flexible strategy document will be developed and presented to the relevant stakeholders within a given timeframe.
